The new Southern Industry Forum website is coming soon
Southern Industry Forum (formerly ShireBiz) is an independent, member-driven body that connects our local industries with government and other stakeholders to advance growth and success for industry sustainability . Our mission is to strengthen our local and regional capabilities, foster industry collaborations and provide a unified voice on the issues that shape the future.
Our roundtable discussions provide the platform to bring industry members and leaders together to collaborate on shared interests and to create opportunities for engagement with key decision makers so that local capability is recognised, strengthened, and supported. Our advocacy aims to influence policy and shape strategic outcomes for our members and their industries.
Our members span sectors from health, education and marine to construction and professional services, reflecting the full depth of our regional economy. While national organisations provide sector-wide representation, regional advocacy ensures that the specific needs and frustrations of Southern Sydney are heard and not lost in national policy debates. Feeding our local perspectives into the national conversation ensures Southern Sydney’s priorities are addressed and opportunities realised.
We also recognise the vital role that business plays in supporting the region’s growth and livability by focused outcomes that strengthen the local economy while delivering benefits to the broader community.
Southern Industry Forum is not another networking shell; we are a collective of local voices focused on driving change and ensuring prosperity for our industries.
Together, we are shaping the industry of tomorrow.
